Sterling Math Facts is a program that helps you memorize your math facts. Conceptually, it functions like paper flash cards, however, it has a number of features that will quicken and solidify the learning process as well as student accountability.
- Immediate feedback on incorrect answers is given so that the user can see their mistake.
- Incorrect problems are presented to the user right after an incorrect answer to help the student remember the correct answer.
- Incorrect problems are reintroduced later in the math facts session to ensure they have learned the problem.
- Allows for mixed operations rather than presenting tables of similar problems.
- Keeps track of a user’s progress through ALL math problems so that a user covers all of the math fact problems.
- Allows for timed responses
- Provides detailed logging information so that parents can track a student’s progress.
- Allows for verbal presentation of answers for missed problems (using text-to-speech).
- Allows for both horizontal and vertical problem orientation.
